Permanent Make-Up Healing Process
My client Nancy had her first permanent cosmetic
procedure done on a Thursday morning.
The following Friday the phone rings
and she informs me that all of her color is GONE! She sounded disappointed
and wants to come for more right away. I remind her that she
must wait 4-6 weeks and I promise her that the color will be visible
over that time. I can tell that she doesn’t believe me.
The 4-6 weeks have passed and Nancy arrives for her 2nd procedure.
She can now see the color and does have quite a bit... after all,
I knew that she would!
Mother nature can’t be rushed. The initial healing period
involves the sloughing off of dead skin along with excess pigment.
The body produces collagen and dermal ‘fibroblasts’.
Also, the skin can reject or absorb the pigment on the first visit.
ALL PERMANENT COSMETIC
PROCEDURES REQUIRE TWO VISITS.
On the second procedure the skin is ready
to accept the pigment.
The pigment will now reflect it’s
color and will enhance the intensity of the chosen color.
It will take another 4-6 weeks after the second procedure to truly
enjoy the outcome of you permanent cosmetic enhancement.
Remember...On
the 1st Visit we bake the cake. The 2nd visit is the icing!
